Speaking to Yahoo Finance, Gunsberg emphasized that the issue wasn’t a lack of demand per se, but rather a shift in the growth’s velocity – a slower pace than anticipated. He noted that while EV sales are growing, the prices need to be more competitive to appeal to mainstream consumers, who are not as willing as early adopters to pay premium prices.
